BUTTERFLY GARDEN AT BROOKSIDE

Kathleen O'Connor is proud to have been instrumental in helping to design the butterfly garden. Here, in its beginning stages, the immature plantings and walkway are being maintained by the many volunteers of GSBAS.

Cedar bench dedicated to Janet Gremli,
our benefactor.

Gisbert Auerwater of Bayport Flowers donated significant time and financial resources to our butterfly garden. His talented landscaping and donations of plants is greatly appreciated.
The garden is in bloom with sedum, bee balm and other plant species that attract butterflies. A ruby-throated hummingbird frequented the garden, this past summer.

The birdbath at the end of the pathway in the garden is dwarfed by the beautiful bee balm that has attracted butterflies this past summer.
