Long Island Beekeeping Club
The Long Island Beekeeping Club is currently setting up the Novice Beekeeping Classes for 2010. You do not have to keep bees to take the classes. Many attend with the intention to learn about it now and then decide if they want to try it in the future. Others take the class simultaneous with the starting of their own hives of bees.

Classes follow the beekeeping year from February through November, one evening a month. Additional, optional Saturday Bee Yard activities will be scheduled periodically.

Classes will involve lecture and bee yard activities led by a Master Beekeeper.

Classes are being organized for Nassau (location still being sought), Huntington, Holtsville, and Riverhead.
